 We charge a reasonable diagnostic/service fee, which is waived if you choose to proceed with the recommended service. 

We  provide a flat rate based on the job, so you know the cost upfront. We do not charge by the hour. For some projects, like emergency or diagnostic work, hourly rates may apply, but we always keep you informed.

 We prioritize urgent repairs, especially for emergencies like leaks or clogs. For non-urgent jobs, we can typically schedule a visit within 1-2 business days, depending on availability.

 Yes, we stand by the quality of our work and offer warranties on both labor and parts we provide. We offer a 12 month workmanship warranty. The details vary depending on the service provided.

 Hydrojetting uses high-pressure water to completely clear your pipes of grease, buildup, and even tree roots. Traditional drain cleaning methods, like snaking, may only temporarily clear a blockage. Hydrojetting provides a more thorough and long-lasting solution. 

 Water heater maintenance should be performed at least once a year. Regular maintenance includes flushing the tank to remove sediment buildup, inspecting the anode rod (especially important in areas with hard water), and checking for leaks or signs of corrosion. Olson Plumbing can help with these tasks to ensure your water heater runs efficiently and lasts longer. For even better protection, consider upgrading to a powered anode rod, which comes with a 20-year warranty.

 Common signs of hard water include spots on dishes, soap scum buildup, and dry skin after bathing. Over time, hard water can also lead to scale buildup in your pipes and appliances, reducing their efficiency. Olson Plumbing offers water softener solutions to tackle hard water issues. 

 To prevent frozen pipes, insulate any exposed pipes, especially in unheated areas like garages or basements. Letting your faucets drip slightly during freezing weather can also help. If your pipes do freeze, call Olson Plumbing right away for assistance.
